Goal

To show you how to add a new team member to Kato quickly and easily, ensuring they’re set up with the correct access and permissions to get started right away.

Why

To help you streamline the process of adding new team members to Kato, saving time and ensuring that everyone has the appropriate access to start contributing immediately. Whether you’re expanding your team or replacing a member, this guide simplifies the setup process, reducing confusion and potential errors.

Send us the new member details

We will need to create a new user profile for each person in your organisation who will be using Kato. We require the below information in order to create a user.

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number (landline)

  • Mobile (or direct line)

  • Position

  • Office

  • Primary team

  • Secondary team (not mandatory)

  • Whether they require pro access

  • Any other packages/roles that have been discussed with the sales person

  • Profile picture (if available)

Additionally, confirm which societies the user would like access to, in this case, IAS, OAS, CAS, WEAS, RLAS and LOAF.

Please note that we will need to request access from the relevant society committees before granting access.

Once we have the above, a member of our Team will be sure to create the account as well as send Welcome emails to assist users with logging in 🚀.

Transferring accounts

Is the new member replacing an existing one? If so, please note that a new account will need to be created for the incoming member, as accounts cannot be transferred between users.

Similarly, society memberships are non-transferable, with the exception of Industrial Agents Society memberships, which can be reassigned.

However, we can reassign the departing member’s disposals and requirements to the new member taking their place, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities.
