Society Rules

Members data is private to their organisation. Upon publishing to the society, you grant access to other society members to view this information.

You WILL NOT use the society for reasons other than providing your customers, or prospective customers, with your services as a member.

You WILL NOT systematically redistribute, manually redistribute, re-sell, download or otherwise copy substantial portions of the society data.

You WILL NOT pass the society members contact directory onto 3rd parties without prior written consent from the committee.

You WILL NOT excessively use the members directory to promote opportunities and services that are not core to your services as a member of that society.

You WILL NOT exploit the acquisition shortlists to export all disposals from the society.

You AGREE to allow the platform provider to track your system usage for the purpose of monitoring for misuse and improving the system performance.

You AGREE the Committee reserves the right to remove your access to the society by not adhering to the spirit of the society rules and T&Cs.

ABOUT THE WEBSITE AND THESE TERMS OF USE
​agents-society.com (the “Website”) is a website operated by Insight Technology. These terms of use apply to all use of the Website and form a legal agreement between you and Office Agents. By using the Website you are confirming that you understand and accept (and are able to understand and accept) these terms of use, and that you agree to be bound by them. Office Agents may make alterations to these terms of use from time to time. The Website is made available to members of the Office Agents Society, West End Agents Society and City Agents Club. In order to be a member you are required to:Be an office agent;Pay the membership fees;Adhere to the Guiding Principles;And adhere to the Society Rules.The Website functions as a platform that allows members to list their disposals and acquisitions as well as other relevant information such as requirements (“Inputs”). The Website collects these Inputs and will share with all members (“Outputs”) so that all members are aware of each member’s Inputs. By using the Website and putting in Inputs you are agreeing to the sharing of these with all other members as the Outputs. The Website also allows members to keep private notes on these Inputs which are only visible to the member.The rights in the Website and the Outputs are owned by Office Agents and are provided to each member on an individual basis and must not be shared with any other third party. This means, without limitation, that members may not share the Outputs with third party services such as, without limitation, Realla, agentsinsight, VTS, Caldes and Agency Pilot (“Third Party Service”). We provide a service whereby Third Party Services may assess the Outputs under separate terms. Providing the Outputs to Third Party Services directly is a breach of these terms and an infringement of the Office Agents Intellectual Property Rights and the rights of members who have provided the Inputs for the specific purpose of Office Agents providing the Outputs to members on an individual basis.It is your responsibility to assess the Outputs. The Outputs are only as accurate as the Inputs and so you should ensure that all Inputs that you add are correct and assess the Outputs yourself.Office Agents do not inspect or vet the Inputs.

RIGHTS OF USE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Unless otherwise specified, all copyright, design rights, database rights, patent rights, trade mark and trade dress rights and other intellectual property rights (“Intellectual Property Rights”) in the Website and the Outputs belong to and vest in Office Agents, or are licensed to Office Agents.All Inputs remain the Intellectual Property Rights of the member providing that Input. By submitting an Input you hereby grant Office Agents to distribute the Inputs through the Website and as part of the Outputs.All third party trade names and trade marks are the property of their respective owners and Office Agents makes no warranty or representation in relation to them.Outputs may be shared with your clients in order to provide your services as a commercial property agent.

RESTRICTIONS AND OBLIGATIONS
You agree to comply with these terms of use and all rules applicable to the use of the Website.You will not:hack, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the Website or any part of it; gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website; remove, modify or obscure any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices on the Website or the Outputs; create software which replicates or mimics the data or functionality in the Website; use your access to the Website or Outputs for the sending of direct marketing; make any part of the Website or the Outputs available to a third party including without limitation a Third Party Service; copy or exploit any part of the Website or the Outputs or the content it contains; use the Website or Outputs or any part of it unfairly or for any illegal or immoral purpose; or attempt to do any of the acts listed above.

REGISTRATION, ACCOUNT AND PASSWORD
In order to use and access parts of the Website you will need to register and create a User Profile as explained on the Website. To register you will need to submit certain information and choose a User Name and a Password.You may update your User Profile using the Website and should keep this up to date.The User Name and Password chosen by and issued to you upon registration is personal to you so that you can use and access the Website.You agree, accept and understand that:you must ensure that all information held about you by us is up to date; you can amend your registration details at any time through the Website; you are and shall remain responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your User Name and Password; you are solely liable for any use of the Website using your User Name or Password; you must not disclose your Password to any other person or party.DO NOT SHARE YOUR USER NAME OR PASSWORD WITH ANY OTHER PERSON OR PARTY OR ALLOW ANY OTHER PERSON OR PARTY TO USE YOUR ACCOUNT. The Website is therefore merely a conduit of Inputs.The views expressed in any Inputs are the views of the individual members and not those of Office Agents unless specified otherwise by Office Agents.Office Agents disclaims all liability in respect of any information, comments, views or remarks expressed in any Inputs.Misrepresentation Act: None of the statements pertaining to a property are to be relied on as statements or representations of fact and society members do not have any authority to make or give any representation or warranty whatsoever in relation to the property details submitted as Inputs. Whilst information and particulars are given in good faith, intending purchasers or tenants must satisfy themselves independently as to the accuracy of all matters on which they intend to rely.By using the Website you acknowledge that Office Agents has no responsibility to review any Inputs and that all Inputs are made available on the basis that Office Agents is not required to exercise any control or judgement over Inputs.
