To provide clear and helpful answers to frequently asked queries within the Disposals Module, ensuring users can efficiently navigate and manage their disposals.

Why?

You can do so many actions via a disposal which contribute to a successful listing and marketing strategy. We have collated key questions we get asked to help you with this.

Q. How do I publish a Disposal to the Society?

A. To publish a disposal to the Society, please follow these steps:

  1. Create your disposal

  2. Go to the Management Tab within your disposal

  3. Select the Society publishing option

  4. Click on follow the publishing steps

  5. Decide whether you want to send an email notification to the society or not

  6. Finally, click on the "Publish" button

Q. How do I recirculate a disposal to the Society?

A. To circulate a disposal to the society, please follow these steps:

  1. Find your existing disposal or create a new one

  2. Go to to the Management tab within your Disposal

  3. Select the Publish options on the right side

  4. Select "Prepare Email & Recirculate"

  5. Prepare your email to notify the Society

  6. Finally, recirculate your disposal.

Q. How do I know if I have published my disposal to the Society?

A. You'll know you've published your disposal to the Society Keep an eye out for the Green cloud icon, which indicates that your requirement has been published to the society.

Q. How do I export my Disposals?

A. If your account is limited to society access only, you won't have the ability to download disposal data. To perform this action, you need PRO access.

Here's how you can do it:

  1. Go to to the Society Disposals page.

  2. Use the the filters located at the top right to locate the specific search you need.

  3. Click on the "Actions" button at the top right corner.

  4. From the dropdown menu, select "Download Society Disposals."

By following these steps, you'll be able to download the required data.

Q. How can I hide my Landlord from the Marketplace?

A. When creating a disposal you will have the option to add the Landlord as well as hide it however, once the Disposal has been created you can find the option within the Management tab:

  1. Find your existing disposal or create a new one

  2. Go to to the Management tab within your Disposal

  3. Go to the Associated Contacts section

  4. Select the Drop down of "Show or hide landlord on marketplace listing?"

  5. Add you selection

  6. Save!

Q. How can I delete my Disposal?

A. You cannot delete a disposal within Kato however, you can archive a disposal should it no longer be required or was perhaps created by mistake.

  1. Go to the existing Disposal

  2. Select "Actions" within the top right corner

  3. Archive

Q. How do I reinstate a Disposal?

A. Within your disposals list, navigate to your filters and use the option of "Status" to find "Withdrawn and Dis-instructed" to view previous archived availability.
