Welcome to your property marketing

Property marketing is all about making your listings stand out, and using Kato, we've made it easier than ever to showcase properties in their best light. Whether you're creating engaging brochures, building microsites or sharing listings on your website and property portals, our platform provides all the tools you need to maximise exposure.

This guide will walk you through each step of the process, ensuring you can make the most of Kato’s marketing features to effectively promote your properties.

Transcript

This session will be a quick overview of the various marketing outputs available on Kato. We'll cover the benefits of each feature and address some frequently asked questions.

The outputs we’ll discuss today include particulars (PDF brochures), microsites, publishing to your website and publishing to property portals. We’ll go over each option, providing a brief overview of how they work. These options become available once you've created a property disposal on the platform, allowing you to generate marketing outputs in one place using existing data.

These particulars are automatically generated, giving you an easy way to create them in just a few clicks. All you need to do is choose your desired layout, which includes your companies colour scheme, logo and branding. Once created, the brochures will automatically update, meaning you can "set and forget" without needing to republish. Any information that changes on the listing—like property status—will be updated directly without additional effort.

To create these outputs, first complete your disposal and set your configurables. Before publishing, you can preview the PDF. Some of our tips include adding at least two images, highlighting four key points, including location and description text, and defining floor availability. Once you're satisfied with the template and layout, go ahead and publish.

Our modern digital marketing output offers a one-page scrolling website with a direct URL that can be shared instantly. Similar to creating a PDF, you can choose the information to include and preview it before publishing. The microsites are also branded with your organisation's logo and colours and will automatically update if any changes occur.

Once you've created the microsite, it will include elements like a gallery and contact information. We recommend adding around five images, key points, location and description text, and defined floor availability to ensure the best results.

You can also publish directly to your company website from Kato in just a few clicks. Depending on your website provider, this can go live instantly or take a few hours based on the refresh rate of their feed. The process is similar: choose your configurables and publish.

For property portals, we work with multiple platforms, allowing you to publish listings seamlessly and receive inbound inquiries directly through Kato. Once set up, you only need to maintain one property record, saving time and effort. Publishing takes just two clicks, and you can manage your inbound inquiries in one place. If you're interested in additional Insights packages, please speak to one of our team members or your account manager.

Please note that while we provide guidance, our company policy prevents us from publishing on your behalf to avoid data breaches or mistakes. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or need help with any part of the process.

If your property is not displaying on the website, it could be due to delays in the feed update, as some web providers refresh their feed less frequently, but from our end it is live immediately in the feed. For microsites, simply unpublishing and republishing often resolves common issues.

We also offer API feeds and XML feeds. If you'd like more information or are interested in pricing, please get in touch with a member of our team.

You can contact us through our website, where we have a live chat option, or by emailing help@kato.app. When reaching out, please provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots or recordings if relevant, to help us resolve your query quickly.
