Creating an Acquisition

When Publishing an Acquisition to the society you now get 3 types to choose from. The 3 types are:

  1. Client Acquisition
Use the Client Acquisition if you want to be able to email this requirement to other society members and allow them to match their disposals to it!

  2. Comp Schedule
Use this type when creating a Comp Schedule to compare disposals of a similar type in the area. Other society members will not be able to match their disposals to this acquisition.

  3. Market Research
If you are compiling some market research and would like to match properties to availability schedules, and be able to report on them then use this type! Other society members will not be able to match their disposals to this acquisition.

Note that choosing Comp Schedule or Market Research types will not email society members!

Viewing on the Marketplace

By default, Comp Schedules and Market Research types will not show on the Marketplace. However, you can view these by turning on the relevant filters in the 'Filters' pane.

You'll notice which ones are marked as Comp Schedules and Market Research by the handy icon on the map of the requirement (shown below), plus we also prefix the type to the name of the acquisition!

You also won't get the option to Match your disposals against the two new types, and It'll let you know that it isn't an active client acquisition!
